– (Chapter: Can’t We Just Stay Like This?)
"You know, I never thought that all through Eleventh I would still like you after what you did to me. I guess you have a magic spell too." Spencer smiled. Ashley just stared at a wall trying to figure out what she was saying. "Ashley, what I’m saying is I like you too. I just didn’t want to say anything because I thought it would make things awkward between us. I guess it was more awkward when I held them in. But what does all this mean?" Ashley just couldn’t stop smiling. She never thought this day would ever come; the day she was able to say what she wanted. The moment she needed to say it was now.
"I hope it means that we can be together. Then I won’t have to go through everyday thinking about what an idiot I am for letting you just walk by without trying." Ashley laughed, realizing she probably just made no sense. Spencer understood, she always understood Ashley.
"I wish we were together now." Spencer said with a hopeful look in her eyes.
Ashley grabbed Spencer’s hand, intertwining their fingers and asked, "Spencer, will you be my girlfriend?" Spencer looked as if she was thinking.
"…I don’t know…" Ashley frowned. "I’m kidding, I would love to date you Ashley." They both grinned, Ashley crinkling her nose and Spencer looking stunning. Both the girls knew what they wanted to do next.
Spencer put her hand the was holding her up in Ashley’s hair. While Ashley put hers on Spencer’s back to keep her balanced as she closed the distance between them. Both girls smiled again and crashed their lips together. The kiss wasn’t too sweet but it wasn’t demanding. Soon enough, the girls’ tongues were battling for dominance. Spencer was on her back with Ashley laying on her; their chests rising and falling together in perfect sync. They were in pure bliss; they never wanted these feeliongs to stop. But knowing that they would probably have a long day tomorrow, they both pulled away. They both layed down in the middle of the bed and fell asleep peacefully. With their hands clasped and fingers intertwined.
Spencer and Ashley awoke to knocking on their door. Ashley sighed and whispered to Spencer, "Do we really have to get up?" Spencer nodded.
