Ashley jumped into her car and raced to the nearest hospital. She ran every stop light, stop sign, took every short cut she knew, made a few illegal turns to make it to the hospital to be there when Spencer arrived. Ashley parked her car in a handicapped spot and ran for the doors. She actually ran past the information desk she was going so fast into the hospital. Ashley made a quick sliding motion across the floor and nearly ran into the wall trying to slow down. Everyone in the room looked at her like she was an escaped patient from the mental ward.

Ashley: “Can you tell me about Spencer, Spencer Carlin?” Ashley leaned on the counter trying to catch her breath. The assistant behind the counter typed in the name while looking at Ashley with a perplexed look before responding.

Assistant: “There is no Spencer Carlin in this hospital are you sure you have the right one?” The assistant said trying to get Ashley out of her face. Just then a stretcher peeled into the hospital with none other than Spencer Carlin. Ashley rushed over to her side and ran with the stretcher as it made it’s way to the emergency operating room doors.

Nurse: “I’m sorry Ms. But you’re going to have to wait here.”  The nurse stopped Ashley in her tracks as she continued on behind Spencer.  

Ashley slugged over to a nearby chair and crawled into a ball.
