Everything fell silent. There was a burning sensation of fear pulsing throughout my entire body. Melissa's beautiful short, hair was flowing slightly in the wind. While Hezekiah short black hair was perfectly pulled back. Slick and soft looking.

Luc growled darkly, pulling me behind him, ‘’what the hell are you doing here?’’

‘’Well,’’ Melissa started, ‘’we heard about your little get together. We decided to crash it.’’

The way she spoke the word crash made my skin crawl. What the hell did they want? Why the hell are they doing this? What did they do to Luc in the past? I wanted all those questions answered and I wanted them answered now. But why was it that my mouth could not open? I knew why; I was afraid.

''Go away. Leave,'' Luc warned in a dark voice.

Hezekiah  laughed in a frightning way, ''give us a reason to do that.''

''If you don't,'' Luc started, ''I'll kill you.''

Hezekiah and Melissa laughed. It was cold, dark, like a whip. They were mocking Luc.

''Like a vampire like you could ever kill vampires like us.'' Said Melissa.

Luc snarled, ''I changed!''

I blinked, ''changed? W-what do you mean, Luc?''

''Nothing,'' he hissed, not taking his eyes off Hezekiah and Melissa.

Hezekiah looked at me, ''you mean to tell me he didn't say anything?''

''No… He didn't.''

''Nothing involving us at all?'' Melissa confermed.

''No.'' I reapeted.

Hezekiah's smile turned cruel, ''there was a time-''

''Shut up!!'' Luc growled.

''When Luc was like-''

''I'm warning you,'' Luc warned.

Hezekiah ignored Luc once again, ''like us.''

That has passed me like a shock. Like Hezekiah and Melissa? Evil. Cruel. It just wasn't possible. Luc is nice, sweet and would never do anything to harm me. I just didn't believe it. I wouldn't believe it.

''Yes, he was like us at one point. He traveled with us, actually.'' Hezekiah smiled once again.

Melissa had a feline smile on her face, ''and young Elena.''

''Shut up!!!'' Luc yelled.

''Poor little Elena,'' Hezekiah continued, ''she and Luc were lovers. They traveled along with Melissa and myself,'' he rubbed her shoulder. ''Until something went wrong. Luc did something very stupid that night.''
