Chapter 2

It has been a two weeks since prom, two weeks since Spencer and Ashley professed their love for one another.  After prom the decided that they didn’t want to keep their relationship a secret from their parents so they told them.  Both Ashley and Spencer’s parents were happy for them and wanted to know why the two took so long to get together in the first place, but all in all everyone was happy with the girls union, well everyone expect Adien of course. 

Currently the girls were in Spencer’s bedroom; Ashley was sitting on Spencer’s bed while Spencer was packing her suite case for her family trip to Ohio.  Spencer’s cousin Clay was getting married and she her family were going.  Spencer wanted so much for Ashley to go, but Ashley had to remind that since her parents were going to be out of town for the month she and Kyla had to run the record store which their father own.  So here they were in Spencer’s room Ashley got rather bored of reading the magazine and threw on the night stand next to Spencer’s bed just as Spencer was walking out of her closet with some clothes, Ashley looked at Spencer and smiled, she couldn’t believe that after all the years of wanting her Spencer was actually hers.  Her thought were interrupted when she heard Spence calling her name.

Spencer: “Ash ?”

Ashley: “Huh?”  Spencer laughed at her girlfriend.

Spencer: “I asked if you would be able to take me to the airport tomorrow.”  She said laughing

Ashley; “Yeah of course I will, my dad already told me and Kyla that we could lock up and go to the airport with you and Glen its no big deal.”  Spencer stopped what she was doing and went on the bed and straddled Ashley’s lap.    She then dipped her head down and gave her a passionate kiss.  They broke the kiss for dire need of air.  Spencer then looked into Ashley’s eyes and smiled.

Spencer: “So what were you thinking about just now?”  Spencer asked smiling her hand entwined and the back of Ashley’s neck.

Ashley; “You and how I still can’t believe that your mine.” Ashley smile and then captured Spencer’s lip in a kiss.  “Sometimes I think that it’s all just a dream that one day I’ll wake up and you’ll still be with Adien and we’re still just best friends and you never know how I feel.  Tears fell down Ashley’s face and Spencer wiped them away and gave her a tender kiss.
