    “Start talking or I’ll cut them off…. I’ll do it and I’ll enjoy it.”

    “MISS ASHLEY WE NEED YOU TO FOCUS!!” James screams at me

    “DAMN IT I AM FOCUSED!! I’M PLANNING ON HOW I’M GOING TO CASTRATE THE BASTARD!” I yell back. Then I noticed Greg smiling ear to ear and I yell at him, “WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SMILING, GREG! IS THIS FUNNY!?!”

    The smile immediately fell from his face and he stuttered, “N-N-No, no ma’am. Not at all. It’s just James and I just had this exact conversation 40 minutes ago.”

    James and I glare at him. Then James calmly asks, “Miss Ashley would you like to read the ransom note now?”

    I nod my head and while continuing to glare at Greg I walk over and grab it from James. After I read it I yell, “GLEN CARLIN IS A DEAD MAN AND SO IS WHOEVER THE FUCK IS HELPING!!”

    James just nods his head and calmly asks, “Do you have an idea of who else could be helping him?”

    After closing my eyes and taking a deep cleansing breath and thinking for a minute I respond, “ The only ones that make sense would be her mother and her ex-fiancée.”

    “How do you know he isn’t acting alone?” Kyla asks suspiciously

    “Because Glen is stupid and a coward. Besides look at the video. There’s a bastard that’s about to rape her. Not even Glen is that sick or twisted to do that or watch it.” I say coldly

    I then turn to James and ask, “So what’s the plan James?”

    “First of all we need to make a few decisions, Miss Ashley” James says simply

    “Okay what?”

    “Do you want to notify the authorities about the ransom and Mr. Kim or do you want us to do this ourselves?”

    “Fuck the authorities! They haven’t done anything since this whole nightmare started. I want us to do this ourselves.” I say firmly

    “Okay that’s fine. But it means we are going to need more men and…..”James starts saying but I cut him off with, “Hire a fucking army if you have to. Get anything you need. I don’t care what it costs. Just get her back to me.”

    “The second thing we need to do is pick up Carlin and interrogate him to find out where she‘s at. We can’t do it here so I think we should do it in a run down Motel room. We’ll need to get as much information from him as we can. Miss Ashley do you know where he lives?” James says
