It was a quite Saturday morning in LA.  The sun was just rising, the birds were chirping and a couple that we all know and love were tucked away sleeping in each others arms.  Spencer her head Ashley’s chest and hand across her mid-section holding her as tightly as possible.  As the sun began to come through their bed room window, Spencer began to stir as she open her eyes she smiles looking at her wife that was still sleeping.  As she looked up at Ashley, she could not believe that after 20 years of marriage the sight of Ashley sleeping in her arms never seem to amaze her.  As she looked at her sleeping wife the only think that cane to mind was that faithful day 20 years on this exact date when she became Mrs. Spencer Carlin-Davies.

            Spencer laid down in her bed looking at the alarm that was to go off in the next two hours or so, the only times Spencer has done this was when she was really nervous or excited and today she was a little bit of both.  Why? You may ask, well today Spencer was getting married to the love of her life the woman of her dream and who would that be? You may ask, well it was the one and only, infamous Ms. Ashley Davies. Lying in the bed Spencer and looked at the engagement ring on her left ringer and a huge smile came on her face.  Spencer could not believe that after all this time and the all the obstacles that she and Ashley had overcome, that they were finally getting it right.  The ringing of her cell brought her out of her gaze.  As she looked on the caller Id her smile got a lot bigger.  It was her one and only.

Spencer: “Don’t you know that’s it back luck to talk to me before the wedding”.  Spencer said smiling.

Ashley: “Nope, it bad luck to see you before the wedding not talk to you”. Ashley said laughing.

Spencer: “So to what do I owe the pleasure of this early morning call?”

Ashley: “Well I know you weren’t sleeping and I didn’t get to see you all night and you that it’s hard for not to see or hear from my baby for more than four hours”. Ashley said smiling. “And by looks of it’s almost 12 hours so really needed a Spencer fix.” This caused Spencer to laugh.

Spencer: “So how did you know I was awake?  How did you know that you didn’t wake me up?” Spencer said smiling.

Ashley: “Well I know that I didn’t wake you up because of three reasons.” She said smiling.

Spencer: “And what would those be?” Spencer Asked.

Ashley: “Well 1 I know that you have trouble sleeping when your either nervous or excited and I know that you are both,” she said smiling “ 2  you didn’t answered your phone all groggy and annoyed like you do when I wake you up.”

Spencer: “Oh really, and what’s number three?” she asked curiously.

Ashley: “What’s that?”

Spencer; “you said three reason, so what number three?”

Ashley: Oh yeah you have trouble sleeping when your not in my arms, Spencer smile widen knowing that Ashley was telling the truth.

Spencer: “I Love you Ash.”

Ashley: “I love you too babe”, she said smiling; “Now I better go finish my vows.”

Spencer: “Wait ash, you haven’t finish your vows yet?” Spencer asked surprised.

Ashley:” It’s not easy putting how I feel about in a few words, if it was left up to me the entire ceremony would be filled with how I feel about you.” Ashley said smiling into the phone.

Spencer: “Awww, baby your so sweet”, Spencer said smiling

Ashley: “Yeah and you know that you love it”

Spencer: “That I do, ok I leave to your vow, see you this afternoon, love you babe.”

Ashley: “Love you too, bye”

Spencer hung up the phone and got out of “Holy shit I’m getting married today”, she thought to herself and her feeling of nervousness swept throughout her body, but when she turned to her dresser and say a picture of her and Ashley on her night stand holding each other close, her feeling of nervousness disappeared knowing that they can like that forever now, therefore she started jumping up and down on her bed yelling, “I’m getting married, finally I’ll be Mrs. Spencer Carlin- Davies”, Spencer said with a huge smile on her face.
