“it’s really not that big of a deal right Ky?” he asked her

“yeah it’s really not…” she told him

“well are you guys staying in LA?” I asked

“we’re selling the house Ashley…” my mom said “…I’m buying a smaller place, and these two are buying their own house just a little smaller than ours…” she added

“I mean, we figured if Aiden and I took it there’d be so much room, but if you were living there too we wouldn’t have sold it…” my sister told me

“right…” I said

“well congratulations you two…” Spencer’s parents said breaking the tension

“thanks Mr and Mrs C…” my sister said

Later we all opened presents, and my mom of course being the witch that she is went up stairs to bed then Kyla and Spencer were talking for a while, and Spencer’s parents did their own thing…Aiden and I decided to go on a walk outside just to get away from everything because we felt like the main targets of the night

“hey I’m gonna go on a walk with Aiden ok?” I asked Spencer

“yeah…ok” she said smiling then I gave her a kiss and met up with Aiden outside

“so tonight’s been crazy…” he said as we started walking through the white woods with the moon lighting up everything

“nah my mom’s just a bitch…” I told him laughing

“look about the house Ash…”

“Aiden…it’s not a big deal seriously…I have so many bad memories in that house…I’m just glad it will finally be gone…” I told him

“you sure?” he asked

“yep…” I told him “…hey I want to show you something…” I said pulling him along to where I proposed to Spencer

“wow…” he said looking out

“you should see it during the day…” I told him “…this is where I proposed to Spencer” I added

“I’m proud of you Ash…” he said “…I mean I have to admit it’s weird because it was always about you and I getting married and being high school sweethearts, but now we’re just high school sweethearts with other people…” he said and we laughed

“yeah…you uh, you remember when Spencer and I had that huge fight, and I was like convinced we’d never get back together…so you and I tried again…”
