Lyla and Madison both chimed in at the same time.
Lyla: In bed.
Madison: In bed.
Chelsea turned to Spencer and whispered.
Chelsea: Those two are so alike that it’s a little scary.
Spencer nodded.
Chelsea: Listen Spence, just be you. That’s the person that Ashley likes.
Spencer knew that her friend was right but somewhere in the back of her head she was nervous that maybe she was a little too "farm girl" for experienced rocker.
Chelsea: Trust me, ok?
Spencer smiled and grabbed the green sundress.
Spencer spent the next few days attending classes, pacing and trying her best not to look nervous. Now that she and Ashley had cleared the air she was looking forward to starting over. She knew there was plenty more to be done including ending her engagement to Danny. For the past few days she had managed to dodge his phone calls but that wouldn’t last forever. She couldn’t very well see Ashley tonight with a clear conscience if she didnÕt at least start to break the news that the marriage wasn’t going to happen. She had sworn she wouldn’t do it over the phone and she meant it, but they did need to talk. Grabbing her cell phone she plopped on the bed and dialed the all too familiar number. The air caught in her chest at the sound a woman’s voice on the other line.
Spencer: Who is this?
Amy: Who the hell is this?
Spencer responded without thinking clearly.
Spencer: It’s Danny’s fiance and you are?
The laugh on the other end of the laugh was grating.
Amy: OH! Spencer?
Spencer: Yeah. Who are you?
Amy: I’m Danny’s new roommate, Amy!
Spencer bit her lip. She didn’t remember Danny mentioning a new roommate in their one room apartment.
Spencer: I didn’t know he had a new roommate.
Amy laughed again and Spencer cringed.
Amy: Yeah, well, it happened really suddenly. I needed a place to stay and he offered.
Spencer sighed knowing full well she had no right to be jealous. After all, she didn’t spend her nights wishing it were Danny in her bed anymore. Her mind was filled with thoughts of Ashley.

Wow. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I was getting worried. lol Spencer talking to Amy was kinda annoying. And Amy laughs to much. Like, seriously. I laugh alot too, but still… Haha If I was Spencer I would have said, “Yo man, the the hell is so funny?” Lmao I wonder what Ashley’s gonna sing. PMASAP

This story was one of my favorites and I’m totally glad you started writing again. Is this Amy chic gonna start problems? Honestly I hope she does because we all know Spence and Ash belong. And Lyla…what to say about that girl, she is one totally out there lady, off the wall crazy and totally the friend Spence needs in her life.
