Lip Service Fan Fiction Season 2

‘Exactly! so why does she have to call you?’

‘Anyways back to the point. Yeah shes back, with this totally hot chick that totally digs into her. Shes like her new BFF.’

Sam saw Cat’s face breathe a sigh of relief but was quickly replaced by a brief slight of anger as she gushed down the remains of wine in her glass.

Cat went to the bar for a refill, not wanting to hear about Frankie’s new catch. Sam followed up behind her and asked whether she was alright. She lean back into her. Glad that she had made the right decision. After all Frankie had not missed her a tiny single bit.

Cat was on her way home when she saw Frankie and her friend. They both in all smiles and each playing with their own camera’s snapping photos of each other. She felt a sudden pang of jealousy of that women. They were heading in her direction, and her initial reaction told her to walk the other way to avoid them. But time did not permit that.

Frankie was Cat approaching and she froze. Danielle realised what had happened and she too didnt know how to react. Both of them knew that as long as they stayed in Glasgow there was no way to avoid this. But both of them had refuse to talk about it and pray hard that it would not happen.

    ‘Hi Frankie.’

    ‘HI Cat.’

    ‘Your friend?’

‘Yes, Danielle, nice to meet you’

‘Nice to meet you. Where are you guys heading to?’

‘Oh we were just going back to the hotel.’ Danielle chipped in. Vary that Frankie didnt feel like talking.

‘Oh ok then, i am going the other way. Alright then see you guys around’

The whole time Frankie had only said two words to her ‘hi cat’, she wasn’t surprise at her reaction, as she always knew that if Frankie hated someone she would definitely not talk to them. So now Frankie really hated her.

Frankie was suppose to meet up with Jay for lunch. She had refused to meet him in the office, as she tried to avoid Cat. But knowing that Jay was an idiot he had decided to bring Cat along for lunch too. Frankie had always knew that Jay was a stupid idiot but she had not realised that he was this stupid.

Jay, felt like an idiot for bringing Cat together for lunch with Frankie. Something was definitely not right between them since they have barely spoken since she came back. But he had not realised that it was this bad. Lunch was nothing more then a silent affair with questions answered by one syllable answers. Frankie had no intention to talk to Cat and although Cat did try her best Frankie just stayed quiet and looked out at the street most of the time. But he thank god when his boss called him to return to the office for a project he was handling. At least he had an excuse to escape and he dutifully pushed the duty of sending Cat back to Frankie.

Frankie was fully aware of her attitude. But what else could she do? Plus she had not expected her to be here. Cat finally couldnt take it.

    ‘Frankie. We need to talk’

    ‘Ok.’

‘Frankie. Why are you doing this?’

    ‘Doing what?’

‘Why are you doing this to me?’

    ‘Doing what to you?’

    ‘Why are you ignoring me?’

    ‘I am not ignoring you.’

‘Dont lie, this is probably the longest conversation we have had since you came back’

    ‘Ok’

‘No its NOT OK! Frankie, i know it didn’t work out between us but can’t we at least be friends?’

    ‘Ok!’

Cat was flabbergasted by Frankie’s response. It was clearly no use trying to talk to her when she didnt want to talk. She left the restaurant, and was not surprise when Frankie didnt follow her out.
