The lights get closer and soon are revealed to be a pair of female bodies. Zastia is doing a reading on them immediately and can feel that they are doing the same as a confused Betty Drake looks on.
Star Sapphire “Wow. So we can fly through the atmosphere into space!”
Green Lantern “I told you. Check it out. I think the lady on the space bike’s who we’re looking for.”
Ginger Jigger
There is nothing but darkness everywhere. The sky is dark. The power is out. All Ginger can hear is violence. She can hear the sounds of bone crushing. She can hear the agonizing yells and moans of two men. She wants to scream, just from the confusion of what is happening.
In the darkness, she sees a silhouette of a woman in grey with blue pointy ears and a yellow bat symbol.
Batgirl “It’s okay. These men will not harm you.”
“Cashier’s good! We need to go.”
Ginger hears the other voice and finally standing up, she sees a similar bat symbol, this time in red.
Batwoman “How’s the girl?”
She can see the blue gloved hand of Batgirl reaching out to her. Ginger reaches to her, getting to her feet. She is still shaken from the experience, but feels safer than she did just moments ago. She is led outside, passing by the would-be robbers who now find themselves tied up and barely conscious.
Now outside, she sees Batgirl hold something in her left hand which she then holds high in the air. A yellow flare shoots out, creating a symbol in the sky of a black bat inside a circle of yellow. The sirens are fast approaching. As Ginger and the cashier look on at the flare in the sky, they fail to realize that Batwoman and Batgirl have disappeared. In their place are the G.C.P.D.
Cop “What happened here? Are you okay?”
Ginger can only nod as the cashier points them toward the robbers inside.
She will never forget this night. The night she was saved by a pair of caped crusaders named Batgirl and Batwoman.
Little Linda
His name is Silas Flint and he is the Mayor of Hillsdale. The housekeeper had heard a strange noise outside, like a jet engine. He had feared that a plane was about to attack the Mayor’s home. Looking outside, he had seen Little Linda, Silas’ daughter sitting up in a tree. He had been aware of the young girl wanting to climb up and he was about to go outside with a step ladder to bring her back down, he suddenly saw a wondrous sight. Now Mayor Flint was home to see this sight as well.
