    Chapter 11- The photo

     
       Bette left Tina’ s house with heavy heart. She didn’ t like it at all to leave her two precious girls but she wanted to be sure that Dana’ s condition was irreversible. She grabbed her phone and dialed a number.
     
    "Hey Dane, how are you?"
     
    "I’ m good. How are you? How was it last night?"
     
    "Well, you know, we talked with Angie during the dinner but when she was asleep we were alone and… and…"
     
    "Bette Porter! Did you sleep with your ex- wife from the first date?" Dana teased happy.
     
    "Actually it was the second date. Do you remember the meeting to our old house?"
     
    "That doesn’ t count as a date. How are you feeling?"
     
    "Let me talk to you about this in person. Are you ready for the flight?"
     
    "Yes, you? Do you want me to come and get you?"
     
    "I wanted to talk to you about that too. Do you mind to meet you at the airport? I just left from Tina’ s house and I need to go home to see the boys and arrange for them a baby sitter. I need to talk to Kaitlyn…" Dana cut her out.
     
    "That’ s not necessary. Lara can keep them. She took the whole week off. So Kaitlyn and Alice can do… whatever they want!" she chuckled.
     
    "Are you sure that Lara is o. k with this?"
     
    "Yes. Don’ t worry about that."
     
    "O. k. I’ ll meet you at my house."
     
    "We ‘ll be there in half an hour."

        Chicago
     
     
    "So, what do you think so far?"
     
    "Wow Bette! You talked a lot! I’ m speechless"
     
    "I told you so"
     
       They were sitting at their hotel room talking and laughing.
     
    "Are you tired?" Bette asked with concern.
     
    "Why, did you planned anything for me tonight?" Dana flirted a little.
     
    "Maybe! Do you want me to change our room with another one with a king size bed instead of two single beds?"
     
       They burst out laughing.
     
    "You know, years ago, when we first met, I had a little crush on you" Dana admitted.

    1. I know Kit is concerned about how Bette felt when Tina left her but Bette is a grown woman. She knows beter than anyone how much pain she went through and it won’t happen overnight but she and Tina are destined to be together. It is Bette’s life not Kit’s and she can be as mad at Tina as she wants but it is Bette’s decision if they get back together. PPS
