As she went to bed, all Tina could think about was Bette. The Walk. The talk. The kiss. The long embrace afterwards.
I felt so safe in her arms. Like if anything or anyone tried to hurt me she would just throw it away. And that kiss. The softness of those lips. Hr borwn curls caressing my face. She felt sooo good. Too bad she had to go take her shift. She was gorgeous walking back there. Her hips in those white uniform pants, balancing as she walked. How many cruise captains wear white Manolo’s at dinner?
She fell asleep, her thoughts full of Bette’s softness and sweet smell.
When Bette excused herself for being late for her shift, James only smiled.
« I had a nice conversation with our favorite chef when she came by to bring me mydinner. She told me that you had the best company tonight. And she mentionned seeing you dance and enjoy it. »
A soft blush was coming to Bette’s cheeks as she smiled dreamily.
« The Great Captain Bette Porter is blushing! What a sight! »
« Go to bed, James, or I may be tempted to just leave you there. »
« Goodnight Bette. Just know that it’s good to see you smile like that. »
He left Bette alone with her thoughts of what she classified as the cutest blond ever.
When Tina entered the HQ the following morning she was greeted by Shane pointing out a white board :
« Here’s what we have for you so far Tina. And Sorry but we couldn’t do anything about your last apointment. »
She was leaving to take care of her first passengers, when Julie a cute seaman pointed her head through the door.
« Excuse me, miss Kennard, your help is needed by the pool. »
She followed her and found Tim, the responsible of pool security taking care of a siw years old boy. Tina kneeled down in front of the boy.
« Hey little man, what’s your name? »
« Charly »
« Hey Charly, nice to meet you, I’m Tina. »
« Hi Tina »
« Would you come with me so I could take care of your boo-boo? »
« Yes »
« Julie, could you please contact his parents, make tehm know he’s taken care of and that I’ll drop him back by the pool? Thanks. »

Love this story, Jodie can we ever get rid of her??? I turn on the TV last night there she was on Dancing With The Stars Love how Bette and Tina are trying to keep work and personal life apart. Thanks

Hey Kendra, Great to have moere of this lovely tale. Am liking that Bette and Tina are able to seperate their private and professional lives. I love how worried Bette was about Tina and that Tina reassured her that this wouldn’t affect their budding romance. They are so sweet! And Leeloo once again just adorable. Can’t wait for more!
