    Jill:  So anything new…
     
    Tina:  Not yet… but I have a good feeling pretty soon…
     
    Jill:  I also have that feeling…
     
    Melvin:  Do you happen to know where Anthony is…
     
    Tina:  They are talking to the press…
     
    Jill:  They were just about wrapping it up… they should be in here real soon…
     
    Bette was walking back to the table… takes a long drink and walks over and places Tina’s drink in front of her…
     
    Melvin:  Elizabeth… do you know these ladies…
     
    Bette:  (Smiling)… as a matter of fact I do… how are you Jill… I saw Jim trying to make his way to the bar…
     
    Jill:  I see you made it…
     
    Bette:  I was there a lot longer… Tee I got you Cranberry…is that ok…
     
    Tina:  Its fine…
     
    Melvin:  Tina… you know my daughter Elizabeth…
     
    Tina:  Oh yes I do…
     
    Bette:  Melvin… Tina is my wife…

    Melvin:  Your what…

     

    Bette:  I said my wife…

     

    Melvin:  Tina you knew all along who I was and just played me like an old fiddle…

     

    Tina:  Now that’s where you’re wrong Melvin…

     

    Melvin:  You mean you can honestly sit there and say when we met yesterday you didn’t know who I was…

     

    Tina:  Melvin I met Bette’s father one time in my life about 2 years ago… and that man was so disrespectful, obnoxious and just not a nice human being let alone her father… and yesterday I met a man who was respectful, enjoyable and a very nice man… you couldn’t be the same man…

     

    Melvin didn’t know what to say to that… he stood up… looked at Bette… then at Tina… and just turned and walked away…

     

    Bette:  Well that went well…

     

    Jill:  If I wasn’t sitting here I wouldn’t believe it… he just gets up and leaves…

     

    Bette:  No one has ever said anything like that to him before…

     

    Tina:  I just told him the truth…

     

    Bette:  And the truth hurts…

     

    Melvin walked over to Scott…

     

    Melvin:  Can you tell me where Anthony is… something has come up and I need to leave and tend to it…

     

    Scott:  That’s too bad… but he should be out any minute… I did see some of the Photographers walking in and they are setting up…

    6. That was a great chapter Amanda, as always. Loved Jill standing up for our girls and Kit. Melvin is such an ass tht will regret his actions. Blood does not make a family as he will obviously learn the hard way. It appears he also has Anthony to fight as well as the girls and I think that will be his toughest fight, he is used to running rough shod over the girls and them taking it, but those days are over now. Have a wonderful time in London, hello to Laurel for us if you can. I wish some of the others would be there for you guys this time. Happy to know that Laurel understands and is always there.     7. Great chapter. I am glad the girls are showing Melvin a united front he is such an ass, and I am glad Kit is going to fight for David. I am sure the studio lawyers can help her without it costing her too much. How old would David be? I hope he hasn’t been totally poisoned by Melvins hatetred and predudice. PPS
