E-lover (Chapter 5): Yes I lost the bet! (FINALE)

-Bette Porter’s honest conversation with the God. –

Bette: You are misrepresenting me. I don’t behave like this.

    God: Did not.

Bette: Look, when I experience emotions my heart explodes and expands. I don’t hide it.

    God: You do.

    Bette: No I don’t.

God: Yesh you do. You do.

    Bette: Naaaah. I don’t. I don’t.

God (in a hissy fit): Yessssss. You do. You do. You do.

    Bette: No. I don’t. I don’t. I don’t.

    God: Meanie.

    Bette: Am not.

God: You’re a meanie. Meanie. MEANIE.

Bette: MEANIE. MEANIE. MEANIE. MEANIE. MEANIE.

    God finally relents.

God: Since when? Apparently the last time you tried to express yourself you were tearing when Henry’s son Mike called T and Angelica ‘their family’.

Bette: Well, at least I teared sensibly when Ilene was God, I didn’t talk about turkeys and thanksgiving.

God: Look. You had a good time, it was Thanksgiving day. It is imperative that you joined the festivities.

Bette: What am I supposed to do now? Christmas is over and so is New Year. Should I joke about Independence day? Eating too much dessert? My life in Mars?

God: Oh yar, that’s an idea. You KNOW that I’m running out of inspiration. -Thinks-

Bette: No. Don’t do that. You’re making me sound like a chump.

God: You sound like one already.

    Bette: No I don’t.

God: What the hell is a chump anyway?

Bette: A stupid and foolish person. You. chump.

God: Hah. Who’s the one with the limited vocabulary?

Bette: HEY. I don’t have a limited vocabulary. I get to use all the difficult words like repugnant and disposition, you know?

God: Whatever. Haa, you said Arson! Arson! too. That’s so over-the-top.

Bette: I admit I did. Anyway, once again, it was Ilene who made me say that. She probably needs some Prozac with that train wreck in S3. I’d rather I had a good time making love. In which I was severely deprived of around both of you, let me add.

God (ignoring Bette): La la la! AND, you outed Kate.

    1. ahh so you DID have an ending to the story. Almost gave up on you. I never knew god was a pushover :P and I wanted to watch Avenue Q! How likely is it for you to enter a bet in the future? ;P Thanks for the entertainment

    2. This is the end??? I’ve only just started! Just found this story and started reading! Aw shuks! I was really getting into it too. And that person who got you into the bet? I owe them big time! This was so funny! I’m so sad to see the end of it :(

    3. wooohooo! you finished it!! excellent, and its official: you are crazy!! Heeheeee! oddly enough, i thought ‘God’ sounded extremely like you, with the ‘oh yar’s! :D i dunno how you moved from the crazy conversation to the lovely-yet-angsty moment between B and H but dammit, you did it well! Great stuff dear, and I agree with that ‘someone’ who got you locked in a bet and got you writing- you write the funny well! Hope you get your arse into gear and write more! Thanks, CrazyK!
