The farmhouse was rustic and in need of repair but the inside more then made up for the rough exterior. Leaving her to remember that you couldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. In other words… it was what was on the inside that counted.This applies to people as well. Lara was a good example of how something appeared to be beautiful on the outside, but there was always something dark and sinister on the inside. Then there was Alice… that was where things got confusing. She didn’t see her as bad, but she knew how to inflict pain that did a lot of damage to her heart. Alice had to be feeling the sting herself…. most of the time the things that she did hurt herself the most. But in this case, Dana felt like was the one having her heart stomped on.
The cabin use to be a place where warmth and comfort resided but given the recent history, the feeling quickly turned to gloom and despair. It use to hold very pleasant memories of the family vacations. They use to come here on their summer vacations. For Dana, her fondest memory was of her first kiss. She had kissed many guys all through out her teenage years but this was where her first kiss happened with another girl. That was the moment she realized that she was gay. It never really felt right with all those guys and she thought there was something seriously wrong with her. She had felt so detached and never knew what it was like to feel the powerful pull of emotions that everyone else talked about…. the feeling of being so wound up and wanting someone so bad that you ached. Dana never knew what it was like to get wet…. and just by a kiss. It had never happened before and it scared the hell out of her. The girl’s name was Allie. They use to hang out every summer and would double date a lot of the time. Allie was everything Dana wished she was… outgoing, confident, and never caring what others thought.
As everyone knows, things change whether you want them to or not and you better be ready for anything. Dana reflected back to the night where it all changed for her. Allie and Dana had gone on a double date to a theater in a nearby town. Allie was dating Jon, her boyfriend of two years and Dana was set up with his bestfriend, Roger. This was her first date with him and he seemed nice enough but there was just no spark. She should’ve just told Allie that this was a waste of time and that Roger wasn’t the guy for her but since seeing Jon this was the only real way to get to spend time with her. It wasn’t like she was jealous of Jon either. He went out of his way to include her in their plans, but it also meant she had to be with a date…. after all who wanted to be the third wheel.

OMG I’m so glad I checked the website one more time tonight…I did the woehoe thing again when I saw that you had posted. It’s been a while but I’m just glad you’re back. It took some reading back to get in the story again but I’m here and loving this update. As you probably know I may be the biggest Danish fan in Holland so to see that connection still going is great. I liked Allie is this chapter but my heart cries out for Dana and Alice to hook up again. And you were right, I still don’t like Roxy eventhough she may have her good qualities. So glad you are back and I look forward to the next chapter. (still doing my happy dance cause you posted!!)
I didn’t mind Dana hooking up with Allie. This was much better than a random hookup with someone from a bar or club because it had more meaning in Dana’s life. I was psyched that Alice’s name was the one on her lips. I’ve been reading this story since the beginning, but when exactly did Roxy become so evil? At the beginning she seemed like a genuinely good person. This can’t all be because of her Alice-obsession, can it? Will Alice get brownie points for her concern for Kristen?I’m so happy you updated. Thanks a lot!
nice update! been a long time though hasn’t it. oh i’m not complaining, i know how it is. thought the update was great, loved that there wasn’t much roxy in it, she just works my nerves. poor kristin and poor alice for going through all that on the phone. how horrifying. and i must say i am most intrigued by this allie/allison character. be good and post when you can!

First, after my whining of course lol i gotta say your post made my day i was all hooray! :) this chap was really up and down for me but sadly there was nothing bad about it, aside form the obvious of Dana and Alice STILL not together lol but really i loved the whole “set up” that roxy did anddddd the accident was very unexpected now did i miss something as to say that roxy was in the accident as well? I was pissed about Dana hooking up with Alie but i forgave u because of this line “Dana came close to crying out… having to bite into Alison’s shoulder to stop herself from yelling out….. “Alice.” see that right there, everything is ok i’ll allow it lol i gotta say im really glad you haven’t given up on this story you’ve come so far and it really is one of my favorite stories! as always on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chap! oh and a big PS: so glad to hear or read rather that u and ClosetDana are doing fantastic! perhaps i should talk to her into getting u to bring back Al and Dana on and off again just so us Danish fans can get our Danish fix lol :) keep on witting the aweosmeness! and no no no u rock for sure!

So I know that I’m supposed to be writing but this is more important at this very moment. So I read your chapter THIRTEEN PAGES!!!! 13! wow that’s amazing baby and I know how hard you worked so I have to give you a high five YEAH! It was great, loved the car accident on the phone. It was heart stopping, then the Allie thing I liked super hot super super hot….it also reminded me of something but I can’t put my finger in it. Anyway, I can’t wait until the next chapter, you always keep me on the edge of my seat love. I get snippents but I have to read it all the way through everytime, the story is so dramatic and sexy. I know that I have to be one of the only ones that likes the Roxy character, I think she’s a necessary evil and she’s not that bad she’s really misunderstood lol. I mean she’s in love with a woman and what’s worse is there is heat there and she’s had a taste I mean I’d plot to get Alice back. I’m so lucky to have met you sorry folks but that’s the reason nothing was getting written from either of us. Actually no I’m not apologizing lol, it was the best time of my life love. I loved the chapter so much and I love you, I really wish you could have seen the first comment, it was a hell of a lot better than the shit I just wrote. It was heart touching and beautiful and I forgot what it said but I know that it brought a tear to my eye lol. I love you babe and I can’t wait for my next snippet!
god damnnn!! and with another update the drama continues.. the whole background story about Dana and Allie was a great addition to an already amazing story. i def love the irony in naming the character Allison.. it being so similar to Alice and all. haha. don’t know if you meant for that but couldn’t help but wonder especially after the last line in the chapter. poor kristen. she was only trying to be a good friend to dana and now she’s heading to the hospital. i could happily kick roxy’s ass. the scene at the end w/ dana and allison was pretty hot! but as a true danish fan i can’t wait for those two to finally meet up again. i’m sure it won’t be for a while so i’ll just enjoy the dana/allison side story. your dramatic writing is amazing. i’m definitely looking forward to your weekly updates!!
Wow, I mean wow. What a great chapter. I haven’t commented this thing in what feels like forever. Reminds me of how we first started talking, it’s a nice reminder. Well, you know how I feel about the whole Allie and Dana thing, but also think it was really wonderful. The ending was perfect, I grinned and laugh and said, that’s so you. Every twist and turn is you. I mean I don’t expect half the things that pop up. I think it’s great you’re trying to update so often, I’m really happy about that. I can’t believe how long this story has been around, and still continues to amaze everyone. Just look at your comments..and you were worried people would loose interest. Well clearly that’s not the case. Well what else can I say…you know my Danish heart is acheing for them to reunite. I still hate Roxy and probably always will because she’s such a meddleing whore! Poor Kristin, that really had to suck for her. Anyways, I think you’re great…and well, you what I think. I can’t wait to see what happens next. :)

ok. so I have to dadit that I usually don’t read anything Danish that’s not happy or on the way to happiness…lol…but I know this other writer who speaks quite highly of your story, so I thought I better check it out. And Clozzy wasn’t kidding. This is really cool. I have been going back and reading the past chapters. Its a really cool, dark take on TLW. Sorry it took me so long to get on board, but I am looking forward to more! So this Roxy chick is a tad scary scary scary…lol. But I am with your woman on this one. She is a necessary evil indeed! Well, I am pooped. Off to bed I go. Oh! Almost forgot to say that I think you are a machine! 13 pages!!! That is freaking craaaazy. lmao. ok. seriously…I need sleep.
I must admit, I like your stories and the way you describe all these characters. Of course I am very sorry that Alice had to be THE cheater in it, but well, I still hope Danish comes back on time. Go on, really great work. Don’t let us wait too long, for the next chapter lol.
I don’t have much time to comment, but good to see you back! This was a great update! I loved the scenes with Allie (ofcourse for the obvious reason ;)), but also because we got to see a glimpse of the old Dana. A warm, loving, dorky, sweet and innocent person. (Can you tell I like Dana?) I miss her! Maybe even Sharon yelling at her would help too. I think Roxy will be quite pleased how her little plan worked out. Poor Kristen! I hope she’ll be doing fine. Where is that mystery man hiding..? Is he near Dana or is he looking out for Alice?
