“He is out cold…” Tina looked behind her from her spot on the floor to see a sleeping Mikey sprawled out on the couch.
Laughing softly, Henry said, “Between the beach and the pizza… the little man is exhausted.”
“I’m sorry about that, having to order pizza…” Tina said.
“What? No… no… it was great. I have had a great time this evening, Tina.”
Tina looked down at Angelica in her arms. Tina and Henry were seated on the floor with their backs against the couch. Angelica was starting to fuss and squirm in her arms. Tina knew what that meant.
“I think it is time for the little princess to eat dinner.” Tina looked up at Henry.
“Oh… yeah… let me go clean up the dishes in the kitchen and you can feed her here,” Henry looked behind him on the couch. “He won’t wake up.” Henry started to get up.
Tina touched his arm. “No… it’s okay. You don’t have to go. I am not shy about feeding her in front of people.”
“Okay…”
At this point Angelica was getting impatient. Her face was rooting around on Tina’s chest. “Okay sweet girl, hang on…” Tina pulled the vee of her blouse open and the front of her bra down to allow Angelica to latch on.
Out of the corner of her eye, she could tell Henry had looked away briefly.
“There you go sweetie, bon appetit.” Tina said as a cue that it was okay to look back.
Henry looked over and smiled. “You’re beautiful like that.”
“Yeah… I’m sure this really does it for you…” Tina laughed.
“No… I’m serious. It is beautiful. Guys spend so much time looking at them as an object of desire… but this is what they are really for.” Henry laughed, “Even though… they still are a lot of fun to look at.” Henry realized what he was saying and who he was saying it to. “Actually, you know exactly what I am talking about.” He gave a nervous laugh.
“Yes… I am guilty of looking with desire just as much as a guy.” Tina laughed.
“So what now for you? Are you interested in dating a guy?” Henry asked. By “guy” he meant him but he didn’t want to say it.

I got the ‘set up’ feeling, too. And based on the interaction on the beach, I figured Tina and Henry had to have talked it through. Thanks for this.
i agree that it is sad that men are villified on the site sometimes, but i am more saddened by the fact that this show has no stable lesbian couples on the show. these characters seem unable to remain faithful. and i can’t help but feel as though all of the so-called drama is all in the hopes of attracting a more “mainstream” ie. ‘straight’ audience. but in this process IC is trading the happiness of her core audience by presenting a very negative picture of lesbians. so i say all of that to say, that part of what we see now on the boards is the backlash, and unfortunately straight men, and the character of tina right now seem to be getting raked through the coals. it is a vicious cycle, perpetuated by the direction of this show.
Hmmm. I’ve watched that scene (which I’ve actually started calling the WTF Scene) several times and always wondered each time why Henry was already there waiting. And earlier I recalled how Tina looked down at her hands as if to say, “Fuck I’m so nervous I feel like a virgin again.” Now that it’s been a couple of days I’m trying to understand it, but I can’t get past the fact it happened in Bette’s bedroom. At least here we got an idea of what could have happened while another scene was playing. Given my past I should be more tolerant, but I saw enough naked man butt in S1. lol And I do realize there are some awesome men. One of them is my own dad. I just sometimes forget.

i agree that there are nice men around and henry seems really nice…i just see it as tina trying to get those feelings out and test them with a guy that she doesn’t love but who nice enough to be around…she will come to her senses soon i hope and realize that it’s not men that she needs…it’s alpha Bette
I agree with you. The way some of the fanfic is portraying this guy is really out there. I would imagine the scene went something like this. I am not mad at Henry,maybe a little for not using protection just Tina who did not have the common decency to repspect thier house, not to mention the non-use of a condom. I hope Bette DOES NOT take her back!
well i agree 100%… and in case you didn’t know i am also str8, married to the best man in the worls for almost 32 years and have 4 of the most respectful sons walking the earth… ok enough said…i… like you love this show… and i fell in love with bette and tina from season 1 ep 1… and i know i am now currently bashing henry in a short story… but for me its the only way i can get inside of tina’s head… why did she do this… and i still say they were not in Bette bedroom… where was the crib… i doubt it that tina took it apart in 1 day… so i think maybe mikey was in bette’s bed and the baby was in her crib… they were in the guest room… all of the doors and rooms look the same… and as fucked up as tina is… i can only hope they weren’t in bette room… and as far as a condom… tina there is also a fool if she didn’t have him use one… it was too quick for him to stop and put one on… and again i can only hope they did… and if this is the only time for them… which i doubt… IC really loves to fuck with us… if this is it and she got it out of her system… well then it was for a good cause… but i have a feeling this is the start of bigger problems… and i pray the spoilers are wrong… i do like your take on this… and i can only hope this is it…

Glad to see another story Tori! I am also saddened by the male bashing. Thanks for giving light to another possible scenario that helps us attempt to digest the turn of events on the show. Through this odyssey that Tina is on, I think it’s most important that Tina figures out that she doesn’t want ANYONE but Bette (regardless of gender) because it didn’t make it better that she was with a woman that wasn’t Bette either – not just being with men.
i think the problem all the fans are having are not necessarily that they feel men are evil…but i think it deals with tina finally crossing the line in such an unbelievable manner, that hurts all our hearts!!!!!
Yes there are good men out there :). Henry maybe one of them but he still went along with Tina to fcuk in the bedroom and house Tina shares with Bette. They are both FOUL and NASTY!
