Dana unlocks her door and goes inside. She wanted to wait in her car to see Alice’s expression when she saw the earrings, but Alice was at Bette and Tina’s for a long time.

I hope she loves my latest romantic gesture. I’ll be floating on cloud nine if I see her wearing them. Please wear them tonight, Al. Give me a chance… Give us a chance.

Dana was so deep in thought, that it would be a good minute before she heard the knocking at the door. Snapping back to reality, she heads for the door.

Lara – Hey, Roomie. Almost thought you weren’t home. Did I tear you away from something?

Dana – Just my thoughts, Lara. Come in.

Lara moved in to the spare bedroom and made herself at home.

This will do for now. I’ll be in your room soon enough, in your bed, in every aspect of your life, Dana.

Alice was blown away by Dana’s gesture, not because the earrings were so beautiful, but because this was so Dana. She was beautiful, both inside and out.

Alice planned to wear the earrings. She had the perfect dress in mind, the blue satin one would definitely compliment the earrings. Alice looked like eye candy when she finished getting ready. Gina thought so too.

Gina – Wow, you are a vision! You look so hot.

Alice- (blushing) Thanks. You look good, too.

Wow alice, you could have handed out a better compliment than that.

Gina – Are those earrings new? They look really expensive.

Alice – Yeah, They’re new.

Gina – Present?

Alice – Huh?… Yeah

Gina – From?

Alice – Are you being the reporter again?

Gina – Are you avoiding my question?

Alice – Are you trying to pick a fight?

Gina – No, Alice. Your acting so differently tonight…. Whats up?

Alice – Nothing, just drop it.

Gina already determined who that person was that gave her the gift… Dana!

She is acting so defensive…. avoiding my questions. She is glowing… strangely happy… none of it being directed my way. Alice are you falling for her?
