The Darker Side of Tina Chapter 5
The late afternoon sun sparkled through the window, warming Tina’s face. With a long breath in, she awoke to the ringing of her cell phone. Groggily, she stood and retrieved it from her purse in the kitchen. Mumbling hello, Tina walked to the fridge to look for breakfastlunch okay, an early dinner.
“Hey, gorgeous.”
“Morning, Christine! How are you?” Tina said, delighted.
Christine laughed, “Did you just wake up, too?”
Walking over to the counter, Tina picked up a note from Bette.
Tina,
I love you, too.
Bette
“Yeah, and I think I should go back to bed until tomorrow.” Tina laughed, reading the note in Bette matter-of-fact scrawl. Had Bette completely lost it? ‘I love you, too.’ Where did that come from, and what did she mean?
“Aww,” Christine said, “I was gonna see if you wanted to go out again tonight, but if you’re not up for it”
“I don’t know if I am. I’m really tired and my body aches. I’m not young anymore” Tina teased.
“Well, I let you and your old body rest, but don’t think you’re off the hook! I’ll call you later.”
“Bye.” Tina said, hanging up. Finding an apple to eat (and deciding to go grocery shopping), she leaned again the counter and stared at Bette’s note. Shaking her head, she put the note down and went into the bedroom to change clothes. Uncharacteristically, Bette’s clothes were spread everywhere. What was with her today? Sighing, Tina walked around and picked up the room.
One clean bedroom and a change of clothes later, Tina headed out the door to the market. Walking down the cereal isle, Tina saw Jenny stocking shelves.
“Hey, Jenny, how are you?”
“Good. How are you?”
“Oh, I’m actually pretty good.” Tina said, with a nonchalant laugh.
“I saw you sneaking in last night. Where were you?”
“What were you doing up so late?” Tina said, trying to sidestep the question.
“Writing. I usually write best around that time. What were you doing?”
“I went out last night, just got home later then usual.”
Jenny nodded, “Right.” and went back to her cereal boxes.
Grabbing some Cinnamon Toast Crunch for herself and Bette’s tasteless Carb Smart, she hurried away with a happy, “See ya, Jenny!” Jenny didn’t return the sentiment and Tina started to wonder if Jenny thought something was up. She couldn’t possibly. How would she know? Tina tried to shrug it off but it gnawed at the back of her mind. Tina finished her shopping, checked out and headed home.

Great Chapter. Keep it cumming.
K
Excellent chapter. Love this.
They need to take it slow and it they make love tonight. Let both know it was something they need and not feel guilty about it. If Tina is trying to hurt Bette with Christine, she might be the one that is hurt in the end, Walk softly. Thanks
Wonderful! Christine serves as an affirming diversion for Tina, without providing the malicious note that Helena introduced to the show. It’s nice to see Tina appreciated.
B&T’s interactions show that true love runs deep, despite betrayal and pain. As you have shown, there’s more than enough drama in their distance without them being entirely estranged. How come they couldn’t do that on TLW?
Am I banging my head against a wall here?
Do you have a laptop, and does it have wireless by chance???? You could post another chapter around the campfire!
Thank you!
What the ….? T is playing with fire. Either she can forgive and move on with her soulmate, or she needs to not play her this way. Bad Karma, T. I know your Tina is only “human” butshe needs to think with her head and feel with her heart and not do both with her crotch.
TINA IS PLAYING WITH FIRE….POOR CRISTINE, SHE THINKS TINA IS SINGLE (if she only knew)….If they have sex I hope they don’t regret it…. GREAT JOB..HAVE FUN CAMPING…THANKS
