Chapter six

On the fifth day of their honeymoon, Bette and Tina left Bangkok. They had done some sightseeing in the beautiful city and along the many canals the previous day. Satisfied about what they had done and seen, Bette and Tina checked out of the hotel and stepped in the little van they had rented. They had also rented a driver, who would be taking them to Hua Hin. They were in for a drive of approximately four hours, so they had also packed a small bag pack to keep with them. They left at 8.30 a.m. to avoid most of the traffic and to get in Hua Hin by noon. They were both still very tired from the past days and decided to sleep during the trip. Bette lay down on the three seats and took Tina in her arms. It didnt take long before the two lovers were sound asleep in each others arms.

When they arrived in Hua Hin, they were again amazed by the beauty of this little fisherman village. It was not as big and loud as Bangkok; thankfully, they needed some rest; but was very charming and attracting in its own way. The driver dropped them off at the Anantara, an amazingly beautiful hotel, where they checked in and went to their rooms. Everything was beautifully decorated, even the wood used for the roof was stunning. The seats next to the reception looked so comfortable and resting that you could probably sleep in them. They looked like little beds, three sides were shielded by wooden bars and one side was open so you could sit down. Another beautiful detail was the sign for the bathrooms. They didnt use the universal picture of a man or woman, but there was actually a little statue of an old man or woman next to the door. There were water lilies and orchids everywhere that gave the hotel an exotic look. They walked downstairs to the garden and pool and were amazed to see that the pool was even more beautiful than in Bangkok and the fact that it was outside and had a nice little bar made it all even better. The great thing about this hotel was that the main building only had three walls, so you could simply walk outside from through the entrance, and there was only a little roof above the reception area. You could almost feel one with nature. They walked past the pool to the little bungalows and entered their room. Again there were beautiful orchids decorating the room and they felt completely at ease in their room. They decided to change and have lunch at the little restaurant next to the pool; again it was outside which was truly fantastic. They both wanted a change of food, so they both ordered a pizza. While they were waiting for their pizzas, Bette took Tinas hand between hers and looked deep into her eyes, into her soul.
Bette: Tina, I truly love it here. This place gives me so much comfort and being here with you makes me so happy. I love you so much and I think I just fell in love with you all over again.
Bette softly kissed Tinas hand and squeezed it gently.
Tina: I think we made an excellent choice coming here Bette. I think we will be able to truly relax and enjoy the time we spend together. Just you and me, baby.
