Cullen's Sky
<Sky's pov>
As I sat outside of Edwards house alone, I found myself examining the necklace I had found earlier today. I never seen anything like it yet it looked so familiar to me. I felt almost attatched to it in a way.
"You okay?" Edward asked as he placed his hand on my shoulder.
"I'm fine. Did you tell Bella the news about Victoria?" I asked as a slipped the necklace into my pocket.
"Yes. We were trying to figure out who could have done it. Do you think it was Marcus?" He asked.
"I'm not sure. It could be anyone at this point. I mean things are changing pretty quickly. It's hard to trust anyone you know."
"Like Anthony?" Edward said staring deep into my eyes.
"What do you mean like Anthony? He has been nothing but helpful to me with this whole thing. Anthony wouldn't…he couldn't. He's mortal. He wouldn't stand a chance against a vampire especially Victoria." I said defensive.
"Why did you end up saved by Anthony? Could it really have been a coinsedence. Like you said things are changing and it's hard to trust people especially new people we know nothing about." Edward said.
"But Anthony…." I said being cut off.
"But Anthony what?" Anthony said as he walked up to both me and Edward.
"I didn't see you there." I said looking at him.
"No, You wouldn't." Anthony said.
At this time I noticed that I was unable to read Anthony's mind. I found it odd because I could read his mind before. Could I be losing my powers? Or was Edward right? Could Anthony not be trusted.
"Victoria was killed today." I said to Antony.
"Sky and I found her in the woods." Edward said to Anthony.
"It's a shame really." Anthony said coldly.
"Are you okay? You seem a bit different." I asked Anthony. I looked down at his neck and notice a scratch or some what of a small burn. Perhaps a mark left as a chain was being ripped off. I used my mind and got into Edwards head telling him to look at Anthonys neck. When I did Anthony looked as if he knew what I was doing and covered up the mark with the collar of his shirt.
