EPOV

' The stars look beautiful tonight ' bella pointed out, looking away from me, i assumed that she was avoiding me dazzling her. I had been back in forks for a while now and i still wondered if i needed to earn her forgiveness, after all i found out from alice about how much pain i caused her by leaving i think i should've said sorry every time i was around – not that i didn't do that anyway. ' maybe we should get you home' i started to speak when she jerked from me and sat in an upright position, even though we were in our meadow, it should've been cold for her. 'why' she said frantically ' is it because of charlie? i won't let him stop you from seeing me? you got that. i chuckled and she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion ' no bella, i only suggested it because i can smell heavy rain in the air '  she blushed, got up and quickly grabbed my hand so we could run to my car.

(THE NEXT DAY )

school was okay for a while most of the students got hyped because of another new arrival, from most of the thoughts i heard she was a foreign exchange student from England of all places, supposedly here til graduation Rose Tyler. some of the thoughts i heard were negative especially mike newton of all people saying she was too quiet for his liking, but at least angela was serene toward her. Bella walked in to the cafeteria with i assumed the new girl  and quickly paced over to our usual table  ' hey edward, this is rose, can she sit with us today?'  she was being generous to the new girl so i would be too. ' of course , you go get something to eat and i'll talk to rose' she smiled my favourite smile 'ok' and stumbled off . Rose was silent  so i introduced myself  'hello, im edward cullen , bellas boyfriend it's nice to meet you' she looked up and replied solemly  ' it's nice to meet you too.' now i had a grip of her voice i studied her thoughts and was shocked at the horrors i was faced with in her brain, she was lying about her age. i wonder why. then her thoughts were flooded with memories of her past in London.  a basement in a store, rose nearly being attacked  by mannequins that came to life , but quickly being saved by a man in his 40's. the thought quickly changed to the same man – could i believe it – cheating death! his face literally changed into a younger man in his early thirties. she travelled with this man for a long time and then i realised , she was in love with him. another memory flooded her and i saw it she was being forced away from the man by some gravitational force and transported to another world, she remembered crying. she was then remebering both of them on a beach saying goodbye. it was then i heard her mind say 'i wish the doctor was here'. The Doctor? who was he? and then it hit me : the doctor was the man she wa thinking of . it was then when bella arrived back with some food for both her and rose. i would tell her what rose was thinking later but right now i was being bombarded with memories of her lost love.

Rose's P.O.V

i didn't want to talk, i didn't want to explain , right now i just wanted to remember……

'mum i've had a life with you for 19 years' i looked at the doctor and then turned back to her 'The Doctor's never really had anyone' i started to walk back 'But now all that changed … because now he's got me' i felt something go over my head and quickly round my neck and i saw  that he had put the teleportation device on me. i looked at him and then he disappeared. The parallell world was wrong without him 'oh no you don't ' i said to myself 'your no doing this to me again' and i quickly teleported back. i saw him, his back was to me when i said 'i think this is the off switch' taking off the device. He turned around , his face looking grave and angry suddenly started yelling at me ' once all this is over that's it, you won't be able to see her again, YOUR OWN MOTHER' . i kept calm and simply said ' i made my choice a long time ago and i'm never gonna leave you'. it was for that brief moment i saw his face soften. ' now tell me what i have to do'.

it was then i snapped out of my memory and burst into tears. i was so upset , i did'nt even notice bella come back. she looked at me and then edward. it was then when he said 'i'l explain later'. i didn't know what he meant but all i could do now was weep.
