    “Seriously…it’s not a big deal.”

    “Oh but it is.” I sigh as I roll back pass the coach Toni’s lying across.

    “No its not.” She flips over onto her stomach, and start to draw patterns with her pointer finger across the carpet. “It’s not like she’s going to dump you after you screw up tonight.”

    “I don’t know…family is very important to her. Her brother is very important to her.” I wheel myself over to the side of the coach and stop. “I just have a feeling that what he thinks of me can change the way she feels…you know?”

    If you have not guessed yet, I’m going to dinner to meet Spencer brother.

    “No.” Toni sits up. “I think…” Toni gets interrupted when there’s a knock at the door.

    “Ignore it.” I tell her when she gets off of the coach to open the door. Toni just rolls her eyes and tells me to be quiet.

    “Hi.” I can just hear the smile in Spencer’s voice as she greets my best friend with a hug by the front door. When they separate Toni steps out of the way so Spencer can see me. “Hey.” Yup she’s smiling.

    “Hi.” I rub my hands along my legs. “You ready?”

    “Yeah… whenever you are…” I nod my head toward the door, and we’re off.

     

    “Oh please, Mac’s are fuc…”

    “What?!…that’s…”

    Okay, so I don’t know what I was so worried about. Glen is great. When he walked into the restaurant, he greeted me with a hug and smile. I don’t think he even batted an eye lash at my wheelchair. I don’t know if Spencer told him prier to or meeting about me or if he just doesn’t care, either way he was great about it. Second, it’s easy to make conversation with him, without or disagreements turning into a nasty exchange.

    Like right now we’re discussing what’s better…Mac or PC? He listens to my argument over which is better and I listen to his. Neither one of us agrees with the other but that okay.

    “You’re a funny kid, Ashley.” Glen’s sits back and his chair and grins at me.

    “I’m glad you two are getting along.” Spencer says patting my hand.

    We end the night with hugs from Glen. Spencer and Glen make plans to spend the whole day together tomorrow and we watch him get in his car and drive away.

    1. Hey, another awesome chapter! I’m glad Glen isn’t a jerk. I’m also glad Ashley didn’t screw anything up, or maybe she did in Spencer’s eyes? Maybe Spencer is screwing things up? Maybe they need to screw, and that’ll clear things up? I don’t know. Its kind of cool how Ash is always the one driving. I dig her independence!

    3. Oh! I forgot. I think Ash shud stop talking about sex!! Why does she always talk about it? It’s obvious that Spence was uncomfortable with that issue!! Anyway, pls pms.

    4. This may be completely wrong but was Spencer raped? I mean I was raped when I was 14 and if sex or anything related to the topic popped up I would freeze up and ignore people or walk away and that’s what she’s reminding me of. So yea I was just wondering.

    5. ok seriously that’s it… what’s spence’s deal with sex talk? I know that sometimes yes, there are inappropriate places and such for those types of convos, but come on! what’s her deal?? I’m dying over here! ok anyway, rant aside, yes I just went through and completely reread the story again lol (that tells me that maybe you should get another chap up asap! lol I’m just playing), and I really can’t wait for them to be able to just sit down and talk. ash about her insecurities, and spence about whatever the hell bothers her so much about sex. but anyway, great update, glad glen and ash got along and ash didn’t screw up. thanks for the explanation in the a/n too, much appreciated. so, hop to it and pms!
