“This place is gorgeous” Her face is lit up like it’s Christmas morning, I can’t help but smile

“I’m telling you Ky, it’s like a mini paradise here” I say to her to trying to remember a time when I was that excited about being here “I’m so glad we’re finally here”

Don’t get me wrong, I love it. It’s just that after 17 years of coming here, there isn’t much to be excited about.
   
“I know, I’m so excited, I can’t believe my parents let me come”

I can’t believe it either, but I’ll never let her know that. I walked around to the back of the car and got our luggage out of the trunk while Kyla stared off into the distance. She finally snapped out of her trance and picked up two black duffel bags and we struggled to get them inside.

“Spence, how did your parents find this place? It’s amazing” she said as we made her way inside.

“My grandfather owns it, it’s one of his chains, it’s one of 3, one is here in Florida, the other in the Hamptons and one in Southern California. I think he’s currently in talks with real estate agencies to get one in like Mexico or Puerto Rico, I don’t know some island that will be sick though” I waited for her calm down before I continued, I guess that last piece of information send her over the edge, she looks like she’s in “Once we get our bags inside we can go to the pool and meet up with my family”

“Oh my god, your brother is here? I haven’t seen him in like a couple of years, I had the biggest crush on him!” she exclaims

“That’s funny cause he loves you.” I reply under her breath but not quite as under as I’d hoped

“I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you, what did you say?”

“Nothing, I said he’s at the pool”

    Wow I almost blew his cover, I wonder how he’s going to react when he finds out that the love of his life is here, I can’t wait.

“It’s going to be so much fun, a whole week of just hanging out, partying, and going to Disney”
