Let Mercy Come – (Chapter: Introduction)

    ~

On a scale of one to ten I’d say this part is somewhere around a six or seven. Its just enough to put me in the mood, but not enough to keep me there for long.

Through the window I watch. She sets the pile of white envelopes onto the glass table she purchased just twelve days ago.

Now grab the coffee and take a seat.

Bang! The brunette reaches for her morning coffee. Not long after she takes a seat on one of her newly purchased overpriced chairs.

You’d be surprised by how repetitive people become.

Like now for instance. I’ve watched her for seven weeks and three days. Fifty-two days and not once has she changed the way she does it.

She starts her day before her husband wakes. She’s a good wife, makes breakfast, adjusts his tie before he makes his leave for work. Once he’s gone she grabs a black mug from the drying rack, pours what’s left of the morning pot of coffee, and sits at her overpriced table to read the mail that was so graciously brought to her doorstep by the mailman.

As you can tell I’m just a little bit sick in the head. I get kicks from knowing exactly what she’s going to do, but not as many as I’m going to get once I see the look on her face. The look on her face is the fun part, the part that really gets my adrenaline pumping.

I step away from the window. I wouldn’t want to mess up and have her make me just to see the same thing I’ve seen for the past fifty-two days.

The next few minutes are very crucial. In order for me to get the full effect I need to time my moves perfectly. If I enter too soon I won’t get the full effect of that indescribable look, if I enter to late… well then I won’t get to have any fun toady. That indescribable look is one of the two looks that make it all worth it. I won’t take one without the other.

My pace isn’t slow, nor fast, just somewhere in the middle. I’m always sure to make it look like I should be here. Suspicious neighbors could end up ruining all the fun.

    1. yea I’m interested to see where and how your going to take this. I’ve seen way too many authors screw up these kinds of stories by rushing them, write carefully :D
