Fast forward a few months

     Kyla has been in rehab ever since she was released from the hospital, and shes doing a lot better. She’d call telling me how she was doing and I was proud of her that she made the choice to stay away from drugs and people that decide to use them. Spencer, Aiden and I would visit her when we could and it was a lot of fun. Meeting the people she made friends with. They didn’t seem to be a harm to mysister or us, so I was pretty nice to them, concidering I’m not going to be trusting too many people anymore, only the ones closest to me.

     Well it’s been four months since me and Spencer got back together and today was our anniversary. I have some things planned cause we didn’t have time to celebrate all the other times, so i’m going to make this one specail. Really special. I called her and asked if she wanted to go out for dinner tonight and she said yes. It was about 6:30pm and I was on my way to pick her up.

     I made it there and rang the door bell to her house as her dad answered.

     "Heyy Ashley." He greeted me with a hug.

     "Hello Mr. C" I said backing away from the hug.

     "So I hear its yours and Spencs anniversary." He said smiling.

     "Yep, that it is." I said giving him a smile back.

     "Well thats great, let me just yell up the stairs to let her know you’re here." He started to walk to the stairs but I stopped him.

     "No wait! I wanna surprise her." I said smiling. He just smiled back and said alright as I made my way up the stairs quietly and opend her door slowly, I stepped in and saw her finishing up her make up. I shut the door so it made no sound. I made sure she wasn’t looking in the mirror when I walked up behind her so she wouldn’t see me.

     "Hey beautiful." I whispered in her ear as I gave her a soft kiss on the cheek. I can tell I startled her because she jumped a little but quickly leaned into my kiss when she knew it was me.
