    I know you better…than you know yourself – (Chapter: I Want This Life With You)

    Previously:

    “Hey, if you made her fall in love with you once before, you can do it again.”  Spencer glared at Tina and heard a knock at the door.  She opened it up to see Alexi holding a bouquet of yellow roses.  “Don’t say a thing,” Alexi warned Tina who giggled inside, pulling her friend in and saying goodbye to the girls.  “Have fun you two!”  Tina left Alexi just staring at Spencer.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Spencer walked up to the brunette.  “Are those for me?”  Spencer asked blushing.
    “Uh-what?”  Alexi was pulled out of her daze.  “Yeah… yeah they are sorry.”  She blushed handing over the roses to Spencer.
    “How did you know these were my favorite?”  Spencer asked trying to find a vase to put them in.
    “I-“  Alexi didn’t know what to say, “I just knew.”  She said matter of factly.  Spencer took this as a good sign.
    “Hey, thanks for keeping me company tonight.  I’m sorry if you had other plans.”
    “Oh don’t be silly.  It’s my pleasure.”  Alexi said to Spencer getting red in the cheeks.
    “Yeah I still have it,”  Spencer thought to herself.  “I thought that maybe we could order some food and watch a movie or something.”  Spencer smiled to the brunette.
    “Yeah. That sounds great.”
    Alexi and Spencer sat on the couch waiting for the food to arrive.  They popped in a movie and Spencer pulled a blanket over them.  Alexi seemed really nervous.
    “So, Sam…”  Alexi looked over at Spencer.  “I just wanted to say thank you for the other night.”
    Spencer remembered.  “No problem.  I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”
    “Yeah.  I’ve just been having these weird headaches lately.  I made an appointment with my doctor though.”
    “Do you think it’s because of the accident?”  Spencer didn’t even realize she said it when it came out.
    “How did you know?”  Alexi looked distant, fidgeting in her seat.
    “Oh gosh, I’m sorry for bringing it up.” Spencer sounded sincere.  “Tina told me a while back,” she lied.
    “How much did she tell you?”
    “Just that you were in a bad car accident, and you guys became friends when you were recovering.”  Spencer lied again.  “I’m sorry for bringing it up.”
