You Don't Know Me – (Chapter: Hope)

    chapter 1

I can’t believe this is happening again. This is the third time this week; Michelle’s gotten drunk this week. I must be a bad best friend because I don’t even know what’s causing miss, anti- drugs, anti anything unhealthy to drink. It’s completely out of character.

Now I find myself walking into ‘Pop Mills Dinner’ a little place we like to sneak of to, when were blowing off classes or just hanging. It’s really I nice place, nice service and everything, but I wonder if they have a nice pay phone. I never had to use it before because usually I’d have my cell or my friends but not today. I left it at home while I was in a hurry to make sure Michelle was okay.

Things are looking better so far. I found the pay phone, right across from the restrooms doors. As I pick up the phone to call for help, I turn around to look out the window at my car, making sure Michelle’s ok.

“Hello.” A sleepy voice on the other end of the phone breaks me from my inspection.

“Hey, Aaron do you think you could help me get Michelle in my house. She’s really drunk and I can’t carrier her.”

Aaron another one of my cloths friends, I met him my freshman year at Highlands Academy. His one of the nicest guys I know. Always helping me out in time of need, I real sweet heart.  We use to date our sophomore year but it didn’t workout, were still good friends though.

“Um… Where are you?” He asks and I can hear shuffling in the back ground, he must be getting ready.

“Pop Mills.” I tell him looking around only finding one of the older waiters mopping the floor near the entrance. This is the only dinner in the area that stays open till 12 every other one cloths at 9pm. Its 11:15 right now so there’s only three other people in the dinner.

Aaron’s said something but I didn’t catch as my eyes was met by brown. Ashley. That’s her name, that’s the only thing I’ve learned about her. I’ve been crushing on her ever since we start coming her two months ago. She’s always behind the counter, there’s only one time I’ve been present and she wasn’t. Even then she was serving another table, so I didn’t get speak to her.
