Ashley palmed her cell phone and began dialing Spencer’s number.  “Spence I’m out front, let’s get a move on! I wanna crash the family reunion!”  The brunette smiled and hung up before anything could be said.  A few minutes went by as Ashley tapped the steering wheel impatiently.  Spencer finally emerged, “Relax Ash, we have plenty of time.”  She opened the door and slowly nestled into her seat.

Aiden and Kasey had left early, arriving at Gray’s before the usual crowd roared in.  “Coors please.”  Kasey placed the bill on the bar as she received her drink.  “Beer?  And Coors at that?  We’re gonna have to change that cuz.”  He shook his head, grasping his cup. 

Kasey followed him to a booth where they took a seat and eyed the crowd.  “Are Ashley and Spencer coming out or..?”  Her thoughts trailed off as she noticed the two enter.  ‘Nevermind.’  She thought.

“There they are.”  Spencer nodded in direction of the booth that overlooked the dance floor as Ashley stood tiptoed to see them.  “I’ll be right back Ash, you want the usual?”  Ashley nodded and with that Spencer left her side and headed toward the bar to order their drinks.  The brunette noticed Kasey looking down at them and smiled as she shuffled her way through the dance floor toward the duo.

“Oh hey Ash, take a seat!”  Aiden yelled over the music as he pointed to a long haired brunette out on the dance floor, grinding anyone or anything that was closest to her.  “What about her?”  Kasey directed her gaze to where he pointed and laughed.  “What are you doing?”  Ashley inquired, trying to follow their odd exchange. 

“Scanning!”  Kasey replied, Ashley had slipped in next to her still trying to figure out what they were looking at. 

“Scanning?”  She repeated, still not quite understanding. 

“One to ten, I’d say… 7.5.” Kasey laughed as Aiden frowned, feeling somewhat frustrated.  “Oh c’mon she’s a ten dude! Look at her! Fine, you find something better then!”  Ashley suddenly clued in and smiled broadly.

“I have to agree with Kasey on this one, a generous 7.5!”  Ashley laughed, comfortably resting both hands on the table.  ‘I think we’re going to get along just fine…’  She thought, subtly eyeing Kasey.
