Who said the Heavens don’t answer? – (Chapter: Boulevard of Broken Memories)
Friday Morning
Several days had passed since Spencer saw Ashley. She tried avoid her at all cost especially the nights she came over to see Aiden. She would speak and go back to her room. Spencer had tried to fight all her feelings for Ashley because she felt Ashley did not want her in the same light.
Spencer showered and got some coffee. Friday was Spencer first day off. She was relieved for that because she had been busting her to make and cut deals with other big companies. Her job was stressful mainly when trying to keep clients for advertisement.
“Good Morning Spencer…” said Tiffany who was already dressed sitting at the table drinking coffee.
“Good Morning, Tiffany. How did you sleep last night?”
“I sleep good but I was wondering how about we go to a party in West Hollywood tonight. You, Me, and Aiden… to relieve your mind?” said Tiffany who wanted to spend time with Spencer alone.
“Sure. Have you told Aiden?”
“Yeah… He will met us there..” Tiffany got up and kissed Spencer on the cheek and then left for work.
Tiffany just wanted to spend time with Spencer and get her mind off of Ashley who seemed very off. Tiffany was still investigating but she couldn’t find anything yet.
Meanwhile at Ashley’s Apartment
Ashley walked down the hallway to the kitchen to get some bottle water. She yawned and scratched her tummy out of a new habit. She constantly thought about Spencer everyday and night. She missed seeing Spencer and her smile but she had to separate her emotions from the job.
Ring, Ring
“Good Morning, Aiden” said a very chipper Ashley who did not even look at the caller id.
“Good Morning, Ms. Davies. Party in West Hollywood tonight. Would you like to come with me? Please!!!!” said Aiden who was begging because Ashley was a very nice person and he wanted Ashley to be there with Spencer.
“Sure.. What time?”
“The party starts at 6:00 but be there around 7:30, okay?”
They talked for another 30 minutes about various topics. Ashley was getting the hang of being a good listener and helping solving problems. She was happy to have met Aiden who was very nice and a great friend. They said their goodbyes. Ashley got up and changed to go running around a block a couple of times.
